- Social worker will provide case management in a multicultural foster family setting.
- Manage up to 18 cases in foster home settings.
- Provide support and consultation to resource families to make placements successful.
- Evaluations and assessments of placements of youth.
- Development and update of documentation as required by State and County agencies.
- Provide services in the field, including client home, community setting, or other venues.
- Transport children to appointments and activities if needed.
- Maintain contact with assigned foster children and or resource parents.
- Complete notes, quarterly reports and other documentation in a timely manner.
- Must be able to work in a multidisciplinary team (children’s social workers, therapist, and school staff).
- Mileage reimbursement is provided.
Skills:
- Possess either a master’s degree in Social Work or Social Welfare, Marriage and Family Therapy, Child
- Counseling, Child Psychology, Child Development, Counseling Psychology, or Social Psychology.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Proficient in MS Office (Word).
- Must have a valid CA Driver License.
- Must have a dependable and insured vehicle.
- Pass Federal and State Criminal Record Clearances.
- Physical & TB Test required.
